Inkjet Cartridges No Longer for Sale

We just removed all of our Inkjet Cartridges from our website. We will no longer be carrying any type of inkjet cartridge. As for the remaining cartridges, check back soon to see where we will post them. We will probably put them in a box and sell them on ebay for cheap. If that is the case, I will provide a link on this blog for you to check it out.

We have decided to begin offering Masterpiece Studios Boxed Holiday Cards on DesktopSupplies.com! This is a great addition to our Christmas paper and cards!

Our Boxed Holiday Cards are perfect for anyone! There are over 500 different styles of cards ranging from $9.95 to $40! To make it easier, we have categorized them primarily into their pricing sections (except for warmest wishes and high count card).

DesktopPapers.com Minimum Order value reduced!

We have reduced our minimum order value from $14.90 to $8.95. With the smaller value, our customers will be able to buy a more minimal amount of items. $8.95 is the cost of our 100 sheet stationery paper packs.

You may ask, “Why do you even need a minimum order value?” It is very simple really. We do not charge for handling. Handling is the time it takes to import your orders into our system, process them, pull them, and pack them to be shipped. Therefore, the smaller the order, the more it costs for us. For instance, take our single sheet scrapbooking paper. One sheet of this is $0.64. If a customer were to order 10 sheets, we would get an order for $6.40, but we would have to pull 10 different items and pack them! Therefore, we need a minimum.

Anyway, I hope that this change will help satisfy more customers and make their experience with us much better!

New Rotating Image Announcements

As the webmaster for both DesktopSupplies.com and DesktopPapers.com, I felt our website’s needed more up-to-date homepages. To me, our pages were getting stale, especially since our homepages have pretty much been the same for the past 2 years. That’s why I decided it would be great to have rotating images in place of the text welcome statement on our homepages.

This new rotating images annoucements will flash a different announcement every 5 seconds. This way, you can see all of our new products, sales, or seasonal favorites right on our homepages! It is a great way to keep all of our customers informed and hopefully will help them to find what they are looking for!

Another great feature of the rotating images is that they will feature a link. Each image is associated with a different page on our site so you simply click the image and it brings you to where you need to go! I hope that this will help our customers in the future by keeping them updated on everything there is to know about our websites. Thank You!!

Desktop Supplies will Discontinue Inkjet Cartridges

That’s right. We are going to stop selling our inkjet cartidges. These cartidges have just not sold well enough to keep in stock. We also no longer purchase them from the manufacturer. We will keep what we have of them on our website for another week but after that they will be taken off and put on our ebay store. So hurry and purchase your inkjet cartridges today at our lowest prices ever! Remember, these inkjet cartridges will come off our website on 7/28/2008. Thank you!!

Custom Paper Cutting Form

If you cannot find the size of cards or paper you are looking for, we have a solution! We now have a form that you can fill out if you require custom paper cutting. This form will ask you a few basic questions about the product you are looking for. You just need to provide a description of the paper you want, the size of cards or sheets, and the number of cards or sheets. Be aware though, you will need to agree to a quantity over 1000 sheets otherwise we will not be able to fullfill your request. Anyway, this form will email Ken (the boss) and he will get back to you ASAP with a quote.

New Contact Form

Hey everyone!

So this past week I decided to create a form for you to ask your questions. So far its been real good. It makes it much easier for you to send an email and it makes it easier for us to answer them! It also keeps away a lot of spam, which is obviously a good thing.

Soon there will be a separate sample request form as well as a custom paper cutting form. The sample request form will be an easy way for us to get you the right samples. It’s funny how many people ask for samples but do not provide an address to ship it to. It’s just one of those things you don’t think about. So our form will require you to fill in your address so we can send you the samples ASAP!

Our Custom paper cutting form won’t actually let you purchase the paper online, but it will send an email to Ken (the boss) so he can email you back with a quote. This is great because he will get a notification on his computer within minutes so he can get back to you ASAP!

Anyway, we hope you enjoy these little things we are doing to try to make your experience with us a bit easier! Check back in a few weeks for a new FAQ section which will answer the most common questions I receive from our contact form. Also, we will be trying to post a help section that will answer some of your more technical question that have to do with using our products and getting the best results!
