]]>One of our local customers came into our shop back in Fall 2009 looking for labels for her fragrances and body lotions. She had clear bottles, so we recommended our clear labels to her. She wanted more than just blank text on a clear label, so we turned her onto our laserfoil. We sent her home with some samples so she could test out different designs and colors for herself and she came back with remarkable results!

She had used our Silver Laserfoil on our clear labels to create her labels. With the clear labels, it appeared that the silver foil was applied directly to the bottle itself! The labels cost $7.95 and the laserfoil cost $15.95 – She was able to produce 60 large professional quality bottle labels for less than $25 and you can too!

1. Create your document in your text editing program. Plan for where you want to use the foil. It could be single spots on the page, or the entire page. When you are finished, you can print out your document!
2. Place the laserfoil on the paper. Take your laserfoil and cut it to the appropriate size. In this case, we just wanted to make our logo shine. We cut the laserfoil large enough to cover the entire logo, but small enough so that it didn’t touch any of our other text on the page. Using the provided mini circle labels, we stick the laserfoil to the paper.
3. Heat the laserfoil to the paper. Really what needs to happen, is your paper needs to be heated up enough so that the laserfoil adheres to the toner already on the sheet. To do this, simply create a new blank document in your text editor. This document should have no text on it. We just want to run the paper through the printer again, we do not want to print on it. When you have this set up, load your document in the printer as if you wanted to print on the same side, and click print.
4. Remove the laserfoil. Once you have printed, simply remove the laserfoil you applied to the document. As you peel it off, you will notice that parts of the laserfoil that you are peeling off, are sticking to your document! Discard the excess laserfoil and you are done!
