Desktop Papers Site Redesign

June 21, 2010 on 12:33 pm | In Announcements | No Comments

It’s been a long time since we blogged on here, but I can assure you, it was worth the wait.

Over the past month, we have been working on a new design for our DesktopPapers.com website. The new design was made live today around 12PM EST.

This new web design is much more appealing that our last design. We’ve added Shop By Theme sections, along with custom banners, and great product image collections. Product pages contain more info and a larger picture. They also feature an image zoom so you can see the product even better!

Check out the new DesktopPapers.com today and let us know what you think!

Printing in Microsoft Publisher

May 7, 2010 on 8:59 am | In Information | No Comments

There are many great tools for creating & printing your own business cards, postcards, and more. One of the best & easiest available is Microsoft Publisher- and chances are you already have it on your computer.

Publisher comes with many predesigned templates that make it easy to create professional looking cards. They also make it easy to print your cards. By default, publisher will print 1 card to your sheet. Obviously, it is better to print more copies per sheet and, in most cases, you probably have some perforated cardstock you want to print to.

We’ve made a tutorial on how to print your cards to your cardstock. This 5 step tutorial shows you just how easy it is to print in publisher. Click the link below to view.

New Image Zoom

April 28, 2010 on 9:55 am | In Announcements | No Comments

We’ve added a new image zoom feature to our images. Basically, rather than being taken off the current page to view a larger image, the image just becomes larger on the current page you are on. We hope this eliminates confusion when viewing images.

Next up, multiple product images! Check back soon!

If you’ve ordered from us in the past couple of days, you may have noticed that our checkout has changed. This is just another one of the many website enhancements we are constantly adding.

Our old checkout area used to look nothing like our website and may have confused customers. Now, we’ve made it very similar to our website- making our customers more comfortable checking out with us.
